A leader in biblical counseling, Dr. Stuart Scott, will be with us March 17. He will lead us in God’s Word during the discipleship hour and the worship service.
Stuart is a professor at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and oversees the biblical counseling program. He is a NANC Fellow and board member as well as an author of several books. You are cordially invited to join us and we hope you will!

Stuart Scott teaches in the area of biblical counseling at Southern Seminary. He has over thirty years of experience in counseling and pastoral ministry, including nine years as associate pastor of family ministries and counseling at Grace Community Church (serving under John MacArthur). Prior to joining the faculty at Southern Seminary, Scott served on the faculty of The Master’s College and Seminary in the area of biblical counseling. He is a Fellow and member of the board of the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC). Scott is the author of The Exemplary Husband, From Pride to Humility, Communication and Conflict Resolution, Anger Fear and Anxiety, Biblical Manhood, Leadership and Decision Making (Focus Publishers), and The Faithful Parent: A Biblical Guide for Parenting (co-authored with Martha Peace, P&R Publishers). Scott has contributed to the book Think Biblically, Christianty and Counseling – Five Approaches, and co-edited the book, Counseling the Hard Cases. Stuart and his wife Zondra (married thirty years) have two grown children, Christa and Marc and two grandchildren.
